Phew. We just finished Picture Day at Kata’s Ballet Studio. Not wanting to be late, we arrived 15 minutes early only to wait 45 minutes because they were running behind. And then it took them another hour and a half to take the picture of the little mice. Oh my. 
Kata was all made up. By request of her ballet instructor, their faces were a palate of brown eyeshadow, white eyeshadow and bright pink lipstick. Her hair was tightened into a proper ballet bun (that’s why we’ve been growing out all year). Her little nose turned pink with make-up and excitement.
They got to pose with Miss Maybritt (Cinderella) and Miss Jessica (Fairy Godmother). They just love their student teachers.
The recital is two weeks away but the girls were giggly, wiggly and squiggly with excitement. Can you imagine having to wait two more weeks???
